Fried Tempeh Hash

Brunch perfection

2 Large russet potatoes (or 8-10 golden nugget potatoes) chopped into cubes
200g of Tempeh cubed
2-3 tablespoons
Olive oil
1 White or yellow onion chopped
2 Cloves of garlic
2 tsp White wine vinegar
1 Red or orange bell pepper
Salt to taste


1 Leek chopped
1 Bell pepper chopped
Spinach or parsley
Fresh herbs
Sesame seeds
Hot sauce

    Cooking Instructions

    1. Fry the potatoes and tempeh in the olive oil on medium heat with a dash of salt until they’re both browned and soft in the middle (20 mins or so)
    2. Once the potatoes and tempeh are cooked and fried, add the onion, pepper, and leek for about 3 minutes if you’re adding these (make sure the leek is soft)
    3. Taste and add any additional salt and add the garlic for another 3-4 minutes
    4. Toss the hash with the white wine vinegar and any herbs, greens, or sesame seeds
    5. Serve with hot sauce or ketchup!
